Midterm

This year instead of taking a written test, we have to pick a subject and take pictures based on the subject. My subject is aging throughout generations. This picture is a photo of my sister who is 13. The thing that has gone well is that all of my subjects have been very cooperative when it came to taking the pictures. If I could have the chance to start over, I think that I would have thought the project through a whole lot more. It would have made the project easier and I wouldn't be rushed to get all the pictures done right at the end of the semester.

So this post will include a series of pictures from our flash unit. One of my favorites is the painting with light. Although there is a more serious side to it, the fun side is when you can paint your name or give people crazy hair. Here is my first experiance with it:

Shutter Speed

This picture shows that when you're at a slow shutter speed, your moving subject becomes blurred. 

Depth Of Field

In Commercial Photography we have done two technical assignments; one on Depth Of Field and the other on Aperture.

This Picture is at F/8. This picture shows how as your aperture increases, the more you have in focus.

Intro!

Hey! I'm Ellie and I really like taking pictures! I'm in a basic photography class at CHS and I'm really enjoying it! Here are some photos that I think are inspirational:
